DubstepDeepeningSubmitted by aerojet on Thu, 12/17/2009 - 03:11.I've been studying this past semester in Dr. Boulanger's Csound class at Berklee College of Music. One of Dr B's many challenges included writing a piece in only six hours, to be entirely made from sounds found in the Csound Instrument Catalogue. For my project entitled "Deepening," I used samples rendered from the Csound Catalogue, which I arranged and manipulated with effects processors in Ableton Live. I used the Simpler and Drum Rack unit to shape many of my instruments.  |
