I'm not trying to make music, but rather to make noise, albeit very specific noise.
I have measured a transfer function from outside a car to inside a car, and would like to apply that as a filter on to low pass filtered white noise, in order to generate very simple tire/road noise for a driving simulator. I have the transfer function in form of an AR filter with 50 coefficients. I have tried the filter2 opcode, but to no avail.
Does anybody know a useful way to apply such a filter? Convolution?
