Problem with sound output

Hey folks, having a bit of a problem with playback in CSound V,

Its giving me a choice of Port Audio, CoreAudio, pa_cb, pa_bl, JACK, and null, however, it gives me error messages on every choice by null, in which case the GUI will indicate the .csd is playing but no sound happens.

The current .csd:

; Select audio/midi flags here according to platform
; Audio out Audio in
;-odac -iadc ;;;RT audio I/O
; For Non-realtime ouput leave only the line below:
; -o gen01.wav -W ;;; for file output any platform

; Initialize the global variables
sr = 44100
kr = 4410
ksmps = 10
nchnls = 1

instr 1
ifn = 1
a1 oscil 10000, 440, ifn
out a1
endin

; Table #1: read an audio file (using GEN01).
f 1 0 131072 1 "/Users/conoragnew/Desktop/soundgarden.wav" 0 4 0

; Play Instrument #1 for 2 seconds.

You might want to...

... detail the errors you're getting.

I'm not a Mac user, so I can't be much help, but those who are (and who are using Csound successfully) can give you better advice if they have some idea what went wrong!

BTW, that WAV file is not actually used at all by the orchestra. You can remove that line from the CSD without hurting anything. (Also, as you'll have noticed, you can't post CSD files properly, as all the tags -- being non-HTML -- disappear completely...)
