i have this issue with qute csound. every time i make a mistake, it automatically gets saved and i have to reload the instrument i'm studying from my thumb drive. i usually never save ANYTHING i do in a DAW until i've stopped and listened to the whole mix to make sure that i don't save an erased region or bad level. i would suggest at least making a save preference option, because this is really annoying.

QuteCsound auto-save preference
There is already a preference option controlling auto-saving in QuteCsound. Note though that Csound requires the current version of your files to be saved to disk before it can render them. So, if you don't save your changes, Csound cannot play them. Every other Csound GUI out there right now will require the same thing.
This could perhaps be worked around in QuteCsound by saving to a temporary file when you hit "Run". You could suggest it to Andres.
