I'd like to install Csound5.09 on an Acer Aspire One Notepad that runs Linpus Linux Lite. If anyone has succeeded in doing this, I'd like to hear from you. Sorry if this is the wrong Csound forum but it seems the closest. Thanks.

Hi, You probably need to
Hi,
You probably need to build from source. That is fairly simple, provided your distro has the necessary development packages. The linpus linux website is very sparse, and since it seems a very consumer oriented distro, it's likely that some packages may not be available (in which case you would need to build and install them from sources as well.)
Some instructions for building from source:

I've found some related articles on the mailing list archives:
http://www.nabble.com/csound-runs-suprisingly-well-on-the-eeepc-to198147...
http://www.nabble.com/Howto-install-Csound5.09-i368d-on-an-EEE-PC900-wit...
They mention systems that have xandros, which is probably a better distro to build csound on.
Cheers,
Andrés
