Hi!

I have a problem I can't resolve: i can't get pvanal utility to work!!!
I work on a machine with winXPpro(sp2) and I'm using Csound 5.06
I tried: CSOUND5GUI->Utilities->pvoc input.wav output.pvx (defaults values).

pvanal prints the following to the message window:

At this point csound5GUI crashes and winz prompts with something like: "Error occourred. The application will be closed."

I'd took a look :) at the event viewer and got the following:

I tried to launch the analysis from Winsound and got nothing but crashing the application and a window prompts "Error occoured...". Finally I tried from MSDOS-prompt the following command line:

pvanal test.wav test.pvx

and got the same as from csound5GUI.

tried with different files, uninstalled/re-installed Csound 5.06, and even tried on a different machine with win2Kpro(sp4) and got the same results...

any suggestion?
