'Crunch' Opcode Level Issues

I have been experiencing significant issues with amplitude levels in 'crunch', and was wondering if anyone else has experienced difficulties as well.

Even when set to incredibly low levels (e.g. .0000000000000001 dB), the resulting output is deafening. I realise this is a stochastic unit generator like the other PhOLIES opcodes and as a result is not necessarily consistent or stable at the best of times, but the only solution I have found that allows me to work flexibly with amplitude values in 'crunch' is installing a 'limit' opcode (which of course heavily affects the output and affects the timbre).

This problem is particularly restrictive when experimenting with the [inum] argument. Altering [idamp] and [imaxshake] seems to make no difference in most cases to the resulting amplitude.

Perhaps the opcode is generally unstable, but it would be great to work with it freely without fear of blowing up one's house.
