I'm trying to use LoopBe30 (free version) with my MIDI controller, but I always get this error when I run something:
The available MIDI in devices are
0 01. Internal MIDI (MMSystem)
PortMIDI Activated input device 0 '01. Internal MIDI' (MMSystem)
PortMIDI error opening input device 0 PortMidi `Host error'
error opening MIDI in device -1 (Unknown MIDI error)
Could it be a problem on my controller's end?

I suspect you're not quite in the right place... (:-))
These forums concentrate on the Csound audio synthesis software (often on other platforms than Windows). It's rather unlikely that anyone here has used the package that's causing you problems.
If you can't find a more appropriate web forum, you might want to try usenet's alt.music.midi or comp.music.midi newsgroups (though they don't see as many visits as they used to).
