This is my entry into the six hour challenge for Dr. B's Csound class. The instruments were designed in Ableton Live, mostly using the "Simpler" instrument using only rendered audio from Csound Catalog 2.5 synthesizers. Ableton Live was rewired into Pro Tools to record lines, loops and rhythms and then edited, arranged and mixed in Pro Tools.

Compositionally the song is based on the music of Swedish artist The Field's Microhose/ambient techno, using chopped up repetitive minimalist structures juxtaposed against slowly evolving textures and timbres. Approximately 1 hour was used for instrument design, 3 hours for composition, 1 hour for arrangement and 1 hour to create a final mix.
