I've been a member of Dr. Boulanger's Csound class this semester, and I'm posting a few of my compositions for you to hear. I would really love to know what you think, so that I can improve my future work in Csound which I hope to continue far beyond this class.

This is an example of where I used Csound in a project I was working on already (Logic Pro). It was a project I began a while ago and then abandoned, in which I was taking location-recorded sounds, some of which were my own and some of which were royalty free samples and building a piece from there.

I took a few of my Csound render files and imported them into Kontakt, which after processing provided some of the pad and also glitchy percussive type sounds. I will post a second pass of this project over the break which which I will feature Csound instruments more prominently than I do here. I am also working on improving my drum sounds that I make with Csound, as here in this piece they are samples from elsewhere. The piece was inspired in part by the music of Theo Parrish.

Please do let me know what you think, as I'd love to expand this music based on the thoughts and input of more experienced ears! I am aware, yes, that Csound plays a slightly minor role in this piece - await the second pass!
